Warhammer World 3

If you’ve been following us for a while, you know the drill. Every year, to kick off the new club season, the Game Masters Guild makes the trek to the holy land: Warhammer World.

This was our third annual trip, and it has officially become a sacred club ritual. There’s something about the smell of fresh Citadel paint and the sheer scale of the museum that resets the soul for the year ahead.

The Holy Grail of Tables

We always try to level up our experience, and this year, the hobby gods were truly smiling upon us. We managed to secure bookings on some of the most sought-after boards in the building:

  • Death of Imperius: This table is an absolute beast. Seeing our units lined up against that iconic backdrop was a bucket-list moment for half the club.

  • Hab Slum Sector: Playing here felt like stepping directly into the lore. The verticality and the sheer amount of detail in the terrain made for some of the most intense, cinematic games we’ve ever played.

  • Spyral Prime: We couldn't leave without testing our mettle on this legendary battlefield. It’s a massive, ruin-choked landscape that demands tactical precision, and we spent hours fighting over its desolation.

There’s playing at home, and then there’s playing at Bugman’s Bar—nothing quite matches the feeling of rolling dice in the heart of the hobby.

A New Season, A New Standard

This trip isn't just about the games, though. It’s about resetting our standards, getting inspired by the display cabinets, and fueling up on enough bar food to keep the momentum going for the next twelve months. We’ve come back with fresh ideas for our own terrain building and a new wave of motivation to crush our upcoming campaign.

We’re officially locked and loaded for the new club year. If you weren't able to join us this time around, put it on your calendar for next year—it’s a rite of passage you don’t want to miss.

What’s the one piece of terrain or display at Warhammer World that always blows your mind?
